Support Earth Hour 2014 On March 29!

On Saturday, March 29, 2014 we at Sutera Harbour Resort will take action for the planet along with a few hundred million other people around the world for a very powerful hour of darkness in conjunction with Earth Hour.

All non-essential lights around the Resort will be turned off for one hour from 8.30pm to 9.30pm in support of a great worldwide cause.

We would like to invite you to be part of something huge as we celebrate this global event.

Earth Hour 2014

It will be a fun yet informative evening as we learn more about Renewable Energy such as micro-hydro, solar PV and biomass gasification technology which provides substantial benefits for our climate, health and economy with Center For Renewable Energy & Appropriate Technology (CREATE BORNEO).

Three of our main restaurants – Silk Garden, Spice Island and Ferdinand’s as well as our co-sponsor Winecellars are also set to showcase the exquisite flavours and fine wines to delight the palate during the event.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to CREATE BORNEO in support of their mission to assist and educate the indigenous communities in rural Malaysia into a clean energy future. Find out more about the organisation via the YouTube video below:

Tickets are priced at RM60.00nett per person and are available for purchase at Member’s Relation Counter in Sutera Harbour Marina & Country Club.

Let’s USE OUR POWER to make change a reality this Earth Hour 2014!
